2019 Songs for survivors concert to benefit the rape recovery center

About this year's event

Genre Zero is proud to host the fourth annual Songs for Survivors concert to benefit the Rape Recovery Center.

Our event is all about three main components:

  • A slate of live performances by local musicians geared towards addressing the role popular music can play in the proliferation or glorification of the rape culture perpetuating and excusing sexual violence.
  • A music-themed silent auction of items donated by local record stores and other arts/entertainment outlets.
  • Guest speakers

Commit to keeping our local music scene safe and inviting!

This year, we're hosting the event at the Sugar Space Arts Warehouse Friday, April 26th from 7-11 pm, featuring live music by Stop Karen, Genre Zero, and Spo.

Also, tune in to our tentatively scheduled outreach appearance on KRCL 90.9FM RadioActive on Wednesday, April 17!

Silent Auction generously furnished by Graywhale, Kiitos Brewing, Jack Mormon Coffee Co., Salt City Drums, Black Cat Comics, and Albatross Recordings & Ephemera
